Every single one of us will probably agree that women’s clothing sizes can often seem very random, or, as Time magazine calls it, “vanity sizing”.
What is basically means is that labels are meaningless, and, for example, a pair of size-6 jeans can vary in the waistband by as much as 6 inches between brands.
This makes shopping very confusing, and upright annoying.
@chloemmx is a Twitter user that recently decided to post a photo which perfectly illustrates this dilemma, as she lined up seven pairs of jeans from different brands and compared their different waistlines.
More than 296k people liked the post, over 123k retweeted it, and there were more than 1200 comments.
