
No matter whether our President admits it or not, the 1950’s and 1960’s era sexism is still present in the U.S. even now, in 2020, and there are still people who get confused when a woman turns up to purchase something like a car, for example.
However, this is not a problem only limited to the car dealership industry, and women face sexism in many other places while buying different items almost exclusively advertised as ‘manly’, or for ‘real men’.
