You’ve probably heard the narrative of ‘acting like a lady’. In fact, many of us were told when growing up to ‘act like a lady’, which means being polite at all times, always looking like you just stepped out of a magazine cover, smiling at strangers when walking down the street, etc.
Yes, we’ve come a long way towards equality, but there are still some things and expectations that society perceives differently when it comes to women – and there’s still a lot of room for improvement.
Reddit user Rubbergloves44 recently decided to ask women of Reddit to share some outdated things that they’re expected to live up to, and women delivered!
