Anytime someone just merely mentions a female reboot of some popular movie or a show, men are immediately triggered and they instantly feel they need to throw a temper tantrum.
For example, remember when there was a remake of Ghostbusters with a female cast and men claimed that it “ruined their childhoods”?
The idea of a woman claiming the space that was once occupied by a man triggers men because it makes them consider women as just as valuable as men, and it, sadly, makes them uncomfortable.
So, when writer Geraldine DeRuiter just merely suggested that Batman’s Joker could, potentially, be a woman, men absolutely lost their s***.
